Today we had a lovely time at our first baby shower hosted by Sean and Cari. Attending were a few folks we attended college with and more that Paul has known since high school.
There has been quite the baby boom in this group of old friends. Steve and Maryanne, friends from high school, have a baby just a month older than Sophia. (Paul and Steve to the right, holding each other's daughters.)
Sean and Cari's dogs found all the kids very exciting and had a good time playing with and protecting them.Sophia enjoyed meeting other children for the first time.
Sophia's favorite part was she was not put down the entire time! She got to sleep in people's arms all afternoon.
Paul opened his first ever shower gifts and people were very kind and generous.
We had a good day and are lucky to have such nice friends.
