Today Sophia and I had lunch with my friend Janet. For the first year and a half I worked on the bookmobile we were partners. She was a constant support during the process that lead us to Sophia and was a reference for us with the adoption agency. I can only assume she said good things since now we have a baby! We had a lovely lunch together. Since she moved to another department in the library a year ago I don't see her nearly enough so it is quite a treat to have lunch with her. Sophia seemed quite taken with her too, sleeping or sitting comfortably in her lap during all of lunch.
Yesterday I came into the family room where I had left Paul and Sophia and discovered them
napping together in a chair. I took this very cute picture that I just had to share.
